Elizabeth Arden Romantique #18 Exceptional Lipstick Review

Today, I am going to review another of my Elizabeth Arden lipsticks from the range Exceptional. This particular shade is called Romantique.

My experience with Elizabeth Arden Romantique #18 Exceptional Lipstick:

The entire range has the same packaging.It comes in a classic black case, whilst the bullet inside is golden in colour. The bottom of the bullet describes the name and number of the lipstick. Overall, I love this packaging. It’s sturdy and travel-friendly. Sorry for the fact the bullet tip is a bit damaged, that happened because of mishandling!

Coming to the color of this lipstick; first of please excuse the fact that I am a sucker when it comes to explaining the color of the lipsticks. This particular shade is a blend of pink and rust. It’s subtle and I personally love this shade. It’s a perfect colour for everyday use. It will complement every skin tone. It’s like an all year around shade and leaves behind a lovely color.

 

This is the most creamy lipstick amongst the rest of the lipsticks I have in this range. This one does not settles into fine lines and has a creamy finish. If you blot it with a tissue paper, it leaves a semi matte finish behind. It doesn’t bleed and has a staying power of around 4-5 hours. However, you have to pair this with a lip balm underneath If like me, you have dry lips. The only major complain I have from these lipsticks is a weird smell they have got in them, which I am not a fan of.

• Everyday colour
• Does not settle in fine lines
• Great for Indian skin tone
  Suits most skin tones

• Not very moisturizing
• Weird fragrance
• Availability

This is a beautiful shade, I do recommend this to others and even I will go for this shade again, if I finish it .
