Elizabeth Arden’s Red door Eau De Toilette Spray Review
According to the website:
Feminine, elegant and classic, Red Door is Elizabeth Arden’s classic and elegant signature fragrance for women, launched by the house in 1989. Red Door presents a feminine mélange of rich, rare orchids, lilies and roses accented by fresh fruits, sweet musk and honey and the sensual scent of vetiver. Red Door has an aroma that is both spicy and sweet; a feminine and classically luxurious fragrance.

My take on the perfume:
This perfume represents the color Red it’s Sexy, Passionate fiery Bold & daring!
It has a gorgeous smell that stands out and gets you noticed.
I got it as a gift. I love people who give me such wonderful gifts 😛 . I must say, I have the best of perfumes as gifts only: 1 Chanel, 1 M&S and now 1 Elizabeth Arden. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Out of these, I thought of reviewing my latest favourite perfume, the Red door spray by EA. When I inquired about it in Shopper’s Stop, I got to know that this 25ml pack is not available in India, only the bigger 50ml and 100ml are. But the smaller pack is also easily available online. :haanji:

For me, it’s a glamorous, luxurious, sensual fragrance that delivers an elegant Floral Bouquet of rich, rare flowers. I have used it several times till date and find the aroma always sweet-smelling, consistently fresh and clean and never overbearing. The fragrance is a mixture of sweet and spice.

But you cannot call it a flirty girlish smell. I find it a more mature fragrance and a little strong. It smells strong enough to be noticed but not so strong to be over-powering.

The perfume stays on you forever. Yes, once applied, it easily stays on for the whole day even in the hot/humid weather. I even have noticed its fragrance in my clothes the next day. So it is even a great value product as small quantity sprayed once will leave you clean and fresh the whole day.

It is an old classic perfume from Elizabeth Arden. I have read people raving about this perfume online. There are so many of them who are actually using only this perfume from the last 15-20 years even. There must be something in it then.

I am not a Fragrance Analyst to clearly judge the flowery notes in this perfume but can surely say that Red door has a captivating, sophisticated, long lasting scent that fills the senses but is a slightly strong smell so does not need to be overdone.
Pros of Elizabeth Arden’s Red door Eau De Toilette Spray:
• Truly feminine, luxurious flowery scent.
• Long lasting.
• Comes in 3 sizes to suit individual needs.
• Easily available.
• Anytime wear scent.
• Leaves you clean, fresh and beautifully fragrant.
• Comes in an easy to fit in your bag/clutch packaging.

Cons of Elizabeth Arden’s Red door Eau De Toilette Spray:
• Do not over do the perfume as it is slightly on the stronger side.

Summing up, for me this product is a winner as I love its scent on me but perfumes depend on one’s personal choice. So go ahead and try it out.
