My Experience with Elizavecca Green Piggy Collagen Jella Pack:
The Elizavecca Green Piggy Collagen Pack comprises of pig collagen and if you are against using them, then this product might not be for you. This product comes in a huge tub with a lid. On opening, you will find the spatula for scooping out the product. The pack itself is pink in colour with pudding like consistency and wobbles when you shake the container.
After scooping out some amount of the jella pack from the tub, the dent that forms bounces back in seconds and the surface becomes soft and smooth soon after. So, no matter on which side you take out the product, it will remain smooth on the surface!
Because of the pudding-like consistency, it is easier to take the product using the spatula. On applying to the face, it melts into liquid-like consistency. Because of the interesting consistency, it is tough to apply them evenly on the face. Though you apply it very inconsistently with ups and downs on your face, it flattens down in seconds.
You could feel your face tighten and after some 20 minutes, it dries. I usually use it as a wash-off mask. The mask has a pretty strong fragrance and my sensitive nose could not bear to use it as a sleeping mask. If you can bear the smell, I would advise you to use it as a sleeping mask because the collagen retains moisture. So, it will keep your skin hydrated throughout night and the products you have laid underneath will become more effective.
That one time I had courage to face the constant sneeze that I might have because of the smell, and used this as a sleeping mask, it resulted in such a bouncy skin. It had formed a layer of sorts over all the skincare underneath and it prevented them from drying off! But even wen used as a wash-off mask, it worked so well and gave the effects of a routine sheet mask.
Overall, it is a good hydrating mask. If not for the added fragrance, I would have loved it even more. It doesn’t have any tall claims. The pack is supposed to be good for adding hydration and moisture to the skin and help with resilience of the skin, and it does that with an intense aroma!

- As a sleeping pack, it might not suit oily skin because of the heavy occlusive property it has.
- It is not completely transfer proof if used as a sleeping pack. You should wait for a long time for it to completely dry.
