My Experience with Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick 44:
Elle 18 lipsticks come in a very classic black plastic packaging with a girl in pink printed over it. The plastic isn’t sturdy. The rotating/retractable mechanism works very well and the cap shuts with a click. The sticker at the bottom displays the shade number only and no name. It isn’t color-coded, so it’s difficult to quickly find the shade you’re looking for. Also, there is no list of ingredients mentioned anywhere on the packaging.
It is a subtle red lipstick. I am not a fan of red lipsticks. It has always been tricky for me. Either it’s too bright or too dark for me. I always loved maroon shades. But this time, I wanted a red lipstick to match an outfit. That’s why I went for this budget option. I liked this shade as it suited me well. Not too bright and I can carry it off well during day time.
The lipstick bullet has two parts, a balmy core surrounded by the actual Color. The texture of the lipstick is balmy and light. It glides on lips like breeze. But the soft texture leads to breakage easily, so care must be taken while applying. This lipstick is nicely pigmented and goes on super smoothly. You only need 2-3 coats for a bold pout.
The texture is creamy and very comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t dry out my lips and I can wear this shade for a very long time without using a lip balm. It doesn’t highlight the dry patches or settle into the fine lines of the lips. It is moisturizing on the lips.
The staying power is up to 5 hours. It survives light meals but it fades evenly after dinner/lunch or if you eat oily food. It does transfer a bit. But overall, I am impressed. I love the shade as it brightens up the whole look and it’s such a nice shade. You must try it through a tester before actually buying it.

Yes! Definitely! It is just too good for 100 rupees. I have found my go to red shade.
