Hello Pretty Ladies!
I am back with yet another Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick review, this time in the shade Raspberry Ripple. This shade belongs to my sister. And as is my habit, I nicked it away when she wasn’t looking. I’ve been collecting Elle 18 products for quite some time now and this is my thirteenth Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick. I would love to collect all the shades of this range. Lets get along with the review.
Rs.100 for 4.3ml.
30 months from the date of packaging.
Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil are the ones that are mentioned.
Young and vibrant, Elle 18 is the choice of today’s young women, who want to define their own style statement.
My Experience with Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick in the Shade Raspberry Ripple:
Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick in the shade 05 Raspberry Ripple is a rich copper shade with golden glittery particles in it. I was apprehensive of wearing this colour on account of the glitters. But when I saw my sister wear it, and wear it with aplomb, I itched to try it on my pout. I wore it to a wedding and it looked super cute. A girl whom I did not know approached me and asked what lipstick I was wearing. Okay! Enough bragging. Back to the lipstick. It, like the shade Prune Splash, smells of bitter chocolate. At first, I thought it was a glitter-ier version of Prune Splash. But when I tried it on, I found that it was darker, browner and as I’ve already mentioned in passing, glitterier.
I am of wheatish complexion and this shade brightened up my face like the rays of the morning sun. But this is not a day wear shade. It might end up looking a bit too gaudy during the day. And women of all complexions could wear this particular shade. It would look as good on a fair lass as it would on a dark beauty. The lipstick is super-pigmented like all the Elle 18 Color Pops lipsticks, and just a swipe or two is enough for the colour to show. There is no need of topping it with any gloss as the lipstick itself is shiny and glossy, not to mention moisturizing. This particular shade stay put for three hours without eating or drinking. I think I am going to use this shade a lot in the coming time. I would recommend this shade to all women across the complexion spectrum. Do get it.
Pros of Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick in the Shade Raspberry Ripple:
• This particular shade will suit women of every skin tone.
• Rich, creamy.
Cons of Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick in the Shade Raspberry Ripple:
• I can’t think of any cons; well, maybe the poor staying power. But I don’t really care about it.
Will I Repurchase Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick in the Shade Raspberry Ripple?
Yes. It is an excellent evening-wear lipstick.
