Elle 18 Colorpops Lipstick # 34 Passion Plum
Hi everyone!
As I promised earlier, I am reviewing the second one of the Elle 18 lipsticks that I bought recently. Elle 18 had started with their range “Dewlips”, and later they got a total make over and “Dewlips” became “Colorpops” with their prices doubled! They had around 25 shades in this collection initially, but since the last year they have introduced some more shades and believe me, the shades are so pretty that I end up buying a new one each time I go for lipstick hunting. The shade I am talking about today is “Passion Plum”, read on to see how it fared.
Price:
Rs 100 for 4.3 ml
Ingredients:
Cocoa butter (nothing else is mentioned)
Pigmentation, texture and staying power:
This shade is a very pretty plum shade true to its name. It has got deep pink tones and slight mauve tones. There is tiny golden shimmer visible on the lipstick bullet but it is not at all visible when applied on lips.
The texture is smooth, creamy and it is decently pigmented. Since I got this shade for my mum and she prefers a bit deeper hues for her lips, so I make her swipe this twice to get that true plum shade. On my own lips, I prefer just a single swipe. But yes, this is a night wear shade for me. Although, girls who can flaunt deeper hues during the daytime, this is a must have! The staying power is sadly, like all the Elle 18 lippies, just over two hours. But the feel is so moisturizing that you would not mind touch ups .

1. Inexpensive.
2. Moisturizing.
3. Most importantly, this shade will suit every skin tone.
4. Decently pigmented.
5. Does not settle into lines.
Cons of Elle 18 Colorpops Lipstick # 34 Passion Plum:
1. Staying power is poor.
Will I repurchase Elle 18 Colorpops Lipstick # 34 Passion Plum?
Not this one, but I already have my eyes on another beauty from this range 😉
Do I recommend Elle 18 Colorpops Lipstick # 34 Passion Plum?
Yes, it is a very nice plum shade worth having.

I am still so wary of putting lipsticks… Everytime i do put one, i fell like i have done a lot of makeup and then i end up removing it… Even so with such colours. But its such a pretty colour :'( sob sob

nice plummy shade Aparajita … Now I want this too waise I love my pinken but only problem with Elle 18 lipsticks is staying power is less. Need to reapply after an hour you got time lol
