Elle 18 Colour Bomb Nail Pops Shade 11
Hi IMBB fellas, this is my first article on IMBB. I have been following this blog for nearly a month. Finally decided to write a review on one of my favourite makeup articles – nail colour.
Today, I am going to review about one of the very cute nail pops that Elle 18 Colour bombs range has come up with. The whole range is really cute and totally appropriate for young girls who love colours and experimenting with them. All the 48 shades of nail pops are really kissable; such cute bottles and nice colours. The price of Rs. 45 is totally suitable for a quantity of 5 ml.
The first shade that I picked from this range was shade No. 11 and today, I am going to tell you all about this very beautiful colour.
It is a white creamy kind of shade with lots of orange shimmers in it. It would have been a clear nail enamel if the shimmers were not present in it, but lots of thanks to God and Elle 18 that the shimmers are there because it looks really good on the nails.
It is neither a matte nor a completely glittery nail colour. It is like a mixture of both of them. One of best thing about this nail colour is that it looks good with any number of coats that you apply, be it one coat or ten coats. You don’t necessarily need to apply ten coats though, but to get the exact colour of the polish in the bottle, you will have to apply at least four coats. It all depends upon you how many coats you want to apply.
It takes average time to dry and can stay on your nails without chipping for 3 to 4 days maximum, depending upon the work you do. It remains for 4 to 5 days on my nails which is completely okay for me. The colour looks totally fresh on your nails up to at least 3 days . One of the good things about this nail polish is that it never becomes streaky whatever number of coats you apply. I have applied up to 5 coats and it never looked ugly on my nails.
Another advantage about this particular shade is that it is a day colour as well as a night colour. You can wear it to college or for a day out with friends as well as to parties and discotheques. Thus, it is really not going to be wasted that way!
One thing that has to be laughed about this thing is the brush, which is really short and stubby. I had to dip it again and again in the bottle to colour all my nails. It definitely took more of my time than the nail colours of other companies. So, I suggest you all to use Elle 18 nail pops when you all have got loads of time in your hands, never even think of using it when you are in a hurry.
Price: Rs. 45.
Quantity: 5 ml.
36 months from the date packed.
- The colour and the type of the polish has multiple advantages.
- The price is really good (CHEAP, that is!!).
- The packaging is very cute.
- Sensible amount of volume for experimenting.
- Available everywhere easily.
- A very short brush which makes the whole nail colour application a stupid process.
- The amount of volume available can be a problem to some girls because once you really start liking a colour, it will definitely finish in a short time and you might not find it easily again (it’s not a big problem though but it happens with me most of the time!)
4 out of 5 (-1 for the brush, OBVIOUSLY!!)
It is one of the best shades among all the 48 nail pops and I am definitely going to tell everyone to buy this colour. I, myself, am buying this colour again. All the other nail pops colours are very cute and bright and am surely going to try most of them.
