Elle 18 Pink Mocktail Lipstick Review

I am here to review a lipstick that is cheap and affordable. It’s a lipstick from Elle 18 and the shade is called pink mocktail 🙂

Product Claims:
A blast of color with the punch of cocoa.the intense moisturizing core in the center protects and care for your lips. ELLE 18 color burst add a blast of color on your lips to dress you up for any occasion. With colors and shades that can match different colored attires , these come with integrated lip balm that gently moisturizes the lips and keep them supple and soft.

Price: 150 INR for 4.3 ml.

Ingredients:
Except the cocoa butter , no extra ingredient is mentioned.

My Experience with Elle 18 Pink Mocktail Lipstick:

This is my second elle18 lipstick. This range of Elle 18 lipsticks does a decent job as it is more targeted to teenage girls who like to experiment and love to wear different colors. Anyway, I chose this color as I wanted to try a pink shade.

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a black bullet case. It isn’t that thick and sturdy. The cap tends to get loose easily.

Shade: The color is a lovely pink with slight mauve undertones. It brightens up the face when applied. It will suit all skin tones. The color is perfect for office or night time.

Texture: The texture is creamy and buttery. The lipstick is delicate; it sometimes breaks if not handled properly. This particular shade was not as moisturizing as it claims to be. If a lip balm is not applied underneath the lipstick, your lips will feel chapped after 1 hour which is a complete turn off. The staying power is average- 2 hours without snacking. It seems to be pigmented, but with pigmented lips (like me), you need to swipe it many times to get the desired color.

Pros of Elle 18 Pink Mocktail Lipstick:

• Inexpensive.
• Creamy, buttery and pigmented.
• Does not stain lips.
• The shade is lovely.

Cons of Elle 18 Pink Mocktail Lipstick:

• Staying power is 2 hrs.
• The smell of lipstick is irritating.

Do I Recommend Elle 18 Pink Mocktail Lipstick?
No, because of the staying power and its smell. But if you are a beginner and want to experiment, it’s a must have pink shade.
