Enliven Refreshing Orange Fresh Mint Luxury Bath and Shower Gel Review

I am so very fond of shower gels, but I hardly get time to sit and pamper my skin with them daily as it takes time and patience to completely rinse them off, else you end up with the slippery feeling all the time. I just take lavish baths on weekends by using shower gels and bath bubbles. I love TBS shower gels by heart, especially their Strawberry body polish. I am kind of addicted to it and it suits my skin needs the most. Recently, one of my friends gifted me a gift hamper with loads of goodies in it as she visited my place. This shower gel was one of those good things which she gifted me. Invigorating- Geranium + Mountain Pepper.
Refreshing- Orange + Fresh Mint.

Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide Dea, Glycerin, Parfum, Benzophenone-4, Citric Acid, Sodium Sulfate, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Magnesium Chloride, Magnesium Nitrate, Linalool, Limonene, CL 19140, CL 15985.

Packaging:

The shower gel comes in a bulky hemispherical-shaped transparent bottle with a long press cap. You need to press the cap to take the shower gel out and then you can press it down to close. The quantity is easily controlled and there no chances of leakage too. But being a big bottle it is not adequate for travelling.

Price:

175 INR for 500 ml.

3 years.

My Experience with Enliven Refreshing Orange Fresh Mint Luxury Bath and Shower Gel:

I liked the refreshing fragrance of the shower gel. It is somewhere close to the smell of Vicks in honey flavor, though honey is none of the ingredients listed, but again just a perception. It smells very faintly of orange too. Overall, a pleasing fragrance which will not linger on at all, just make your bathroom fragranced for a few minutes, that’s it. The consistency of the shower gel is very runny, but you can easily control the amount of gel you need as the bottle is having  a very narrow opening. The gel is golden to honey colored. Now, comes the lathering part. I would say that this gel did not score much on that. Just like any other average shower gel. You need much more quantity on the bath lily than required for it to lather.

Once lathered, it covers your entire body without any need of taking it again. The worst part is the rinsing part. If you are in a hurry and you use it, you are just gone because it takes ages to wash down.  Even with a lot of rinsing with water, you still feel the slipperiness.  If you rub your body while still wet you can see some lather coming up, this irritates the most. You have to keep on pouring water till infinity, God!!! I literally went crazy in removing that slippery feeling from my skin.

Pros of Enliven Refreshing Orange Fresh Mint Luxury Bath and Shower Gel:

• Smells good.
• Does not make skin dry.

Cons of Enliven Refreshing Orange Fresh Mint Luxury Bath and Shower Gel:

• Not so good at producing lather, just average.
• You need to be in shower for hours to remove the damn slippery thing from your skin.
• Bulky bottle.

Finally, I would say that I have just used it once and did not want to use it again. I have mixed it with my liquid hand wash now and kept it on the sink.  If you have a hell of lot of time, you can surely buy this and experiment 😉
