EOS Blackberry Nectar Visibly Soft Lip Balm Review

Hope you’re having a wonderful day. 😀 I recently saw this lip balm online and I couldn’t resist buying it because I’m a berry addict. This is my 3rd lip balm from the brand. Read on to know how this one fared for me as compared to the other two 🙂

My Experience with EOS Blackberry Nectar Visibly Soft Lip Balm:

Packaging – I’ve always adored the packaging of EOS lip balms as they are out of the box. The lip balm comes in a sphere shape with a twist-off cap. This one comes in horizontal stripes of lilac and white with ‘EOS’ written on top and the bottom. The packaging is sturdy and even if it falls on the ground, nothing happens. The lip balm, itself, is colourless and a semi-circle in shape.

Smell & Taste – The smell of this is not 100% natural. It’s like blackberries with a fake smell to it. The smell reminds me a little of the Pomegranate Raspberry one but this is sweeter. The taste, too, is sweet but not sickeningly sweet (which is the good part).

Staying Power – In the day, I reapply the lip balm after every 4 hours not because they start to chap again but because my lips are sensitive. I used it before sleeping and woke up with soft and smooth pink lips (the product was still there on my lips, mind you). This lip balm will keep your lips moisturized all day long with just 1-2 swipes. 🙂

Texture – The best part about these lip balms is their texture. They are not too greasy neither are they useless. The lip balm is pretty sturdy in itself. It doesn’t melt even if kept in hot conditions. I use it as a lip primer, too.

I am happy with my purchase but due to the smell and taste, I won’t be repurchasing it. I would definitely pick Strawberry Sorbet over the other two because that’s more natural in smell and taste. But when it comes to performance, this lip balm acts like the other two and that’s what has kept my faith in the brand.

• Prices differ online and in stores.
