Today’s review is about EOS Extra Dry Vanilla Orchid Body Lotion. EOS stands for Evolution Of Smooth. They are very well known for their lip care products. Their packaging is also quite different and creative, especially the lip balms. They were the first to create those spherical shaped ones. My Experience with EOS Extra Dry Vanilla Orchid Body Lotion:
The body lotion comes in a very creative and cute packaging. The shape of it was so different, which is one of the main reasons that made me buy it. It looks more like a vase with dispenser pump. The Vanilla Orchid one is overall white in color and cute. It has a flap lid.
The fragrance is true to its name. The lotion smells very much of flowers. The fragrance does last around maximum 2 hours. I would have loved it if it lingered on for a longer duration.
The consistency of the lotion is not very thick and slightly flowy. This makes it easy to distribute it all over the skin easily. The lotion does not feel greasy and also gets absorbed very quickly into the skin. This really saves some time when you are in a hurry.
I would say that the lotion is not for very dry skin or for colder months. It was definitely nourishing, but in a mild way. It would make a perfect spring or summer lotion when the skin is not so dry.
The product promises 24 hours of skin care which it fails to meet. The nourishing capacity and the fragrance of the product also suits only spring and summer. So, I would love using it in summer months.
