My Experience with EOS Lavender Jasmine Shave Cream:
I have always preferred shaving over waxing and epilators. The most important reason for that is my sensitive skin, so the previously-mentioned methods do not work well on me. The process of waxing gives me rashes (whether I get it done at the salon or at home). Epilator is too painful to use, and the only other way to get rid of hair is by shaving them off. Over the years, I have tried numerous shave gels and foams along with a lot of razors. The EOS bottle caught my fancy when I needed to get a new shave gel/cream after the previous one was almost over. The lovely color and contour of the bottle, along with the brand name “EOS” was enough to make me pick up this particular shave Cream.
This shaving cream is cream…you know what I mean, it’s like a thick lotion, doesn’t create any foam. I am not used to such shaving products. I have to take a very good amount of product to get the required slip for my razor. The cream has a very nice lavender and jasmine smell, but the way it works is pretty disappointing.
The thickness of the cream clogs my razors and due to this, it gets more difficult to get a good shave. I would have really liked this cream if it had some foam base, but that’s not the case, so I am going back to Venus shave gel again.
Pros of EOS Lavender Jasmine Shave Cream:
- Cruelty free.
- Paraben free.
- Nice fragrance.
Cons of EOS Lavender Jasmine Shave Cream:
- Thick like a body butter.
- Clogs up razors.
IMBB Rating:
2/5
Would I Recommend EOS Lavender Jasmine Shave Cream?
No, it doesn’t work well as a shaving cream, so it defeats the sole purpose of buying it.
