Equate Beauty 100% Acetone Nail Polish Remover Review

I had got this nail polish remover from Equate thinking said “100% acetone free.” Later, I found it’s an acetone-based remover. Anyway, here’s the review of Equate Beauty 100% Acetone Nail Polish Remover.

My Experience with Equate Beauty 100% Acetone Nail Polish Remover:

It comes in a big 177 ml plastic bottle, with no extra seal. It has a wide mouth, instead of the regular small hole. So when you tilt the bottle, a lot of product comes out. I am not a fan of the bulky packaging, as it is not travel friendly, and may cause product wastage. Product details are written on the bottle.

Equate Beauty Acetone Nail Polish Remover details at the back

This runny liquid has a very strong chemical smell. In fact, if you have seen or used acetone in chemistry labs, this is exactly acetone, but the scent is very strong, pungent and bothersome.

Living up to the claims of a professional strength nail polish remover, this eradicates all traces of nail polishes. Regular nail enamel, with top and base coat gets removes in a couple of swipes. Gel and glitter polishes also are removed comparatively easily. Being acetone based, it does dry out nails and the surrounding areas, especially my cuticles feel stretchy and slightly tingly. I need to follow up with a cuticle cream or hand cream after using this. I am not a fan of this nail polish remover, so won’t repurchase.
