How are you doing today? I am here to share with you a skincare purchase which seems perfect for every skin type including dry and parched skin, for all year round. Equate is a popular drugstore brand in the US and I like how they match the quality of product with their competitor brands like Aveeno. No wonder they never fail to impress consumers with their quality and affordable price tags. Read on more details on Equate Daily Moisturizing Lotion.
$5-$7 for 18 Fl Oz, price varies store to store.
Daily Moisturizing Lotion with Natural Colloidal Oatmeal. Helps prevent and temporarily protects chafed, chapped or cracked skin
Helps protect from the drying effects of wind and cold weather
Equate Daily Moisturizing Lotion: Long-lasting moisturizer. Be comfortable in your skin. Fragrance-free lotion. Dermatologist tested.
My Experience with Equate Daily Moisturizing Lotion:
This body lotion comes in a sturdy and opaque plastic bottle packaging with a pump dispenser opening. I like how they have upgraded the pump dispenser opening with stop-open mechanism to avoid accidental spillage or leakage. Not to mention, it looks like an exact dupe of Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion in every aspect, right from the packaging to the list of ingredients, and even the product inside; it is cheaper than Aveeno lotion though! It is also a fragrance-free product. I am totally happy with this mess free and travel-friendly packaging.
The white body lotion appears a bit thicker, like a cream, which easily gets absorbed into my dry skin without leaving any greasy or tacky finish. It does look heavy and rich in hydration, but I didn’t find it overtly greasy for my skin as I am currently using it every single day, in Texas’ hot temperature, which is already touching 85 F already. It provides ample hydration to my dry skin (I am pregnant right now :P) without making me sweat like a pig or leaving any oily shine behind, which is quite impressive! In fact, I find it perfect for my stretching belly as it keeps my skin soft and helps in preventing stretch marks (thankfully). Needless to say, it is safe to use during pregnancy (I had a word with my doctor – pregnant moms can consult their doctor before trying any new skincare/makeup products) while other gals can use it all year round.
I use it every single day post my showering routine to keep my skin soft and supple and I must say it does the job very well. I get soft skin all day long, get the feeling as if I am touching my baby’s bums!:P I am looking forward to using it in winters as well considering the intense texture and moisturization that it provides of up to 8+ hours.
I have tried Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion as well hence I can say it with confidence that there is nothing that I miss about Aveeno after using Equate lotion. I would definitely recommend this lotion to every gal including those with dry and parched skin. Also, I would love to repurchase it.
