Equate Pink Himalayan Refreshing Body Wash Review

Greetings to all!
For quite some time, I have been eyeing Aveeno body washes to add to my shower caddy but find them a bit on the pricier side for a body wash, so I bought the next best option – Equate body washes (which have everything same as the former except the brand name). This particular is my go-to body wash; keep reading to know why.

My Take on Equate Pink Himalayan Refreshing Body Wash:

I have used regular body washes like the one by Dove or VOS and I have used more luxurious ones by Victoria Secret, Bath and Body Works, and so on but I don’t have a personal favorite and I keep changing brands. However, I did like the product reviewed in this post and am contemplating purchasing another bottle once I run out of this one.

Packaging: The product comes in a big 16 fl oz bottle with a flip cap on top to cover the opening which dispenses product when the bottle is tilted or squeezed. It is a bit long yet slim bottle and hence is easy to store in my shower caddy.

Consistency: Since it is a moisturizing body wash, it has a thick gel-like consistency and a small quantity is enough for one shower session if used with a good loofah.

Fragrance: The smell is subtle yet refreshing and reminds me of the floral body mist I have used in past. I was a bit skeptic of this particular feature before I sampled the product but after my first usage, I was satisfied by it.

Efficacy: A small dollop on a wet loofah is enough for one shower session. I rub my loofah all over body and massage for good few minutes with extra concentration on areas that I shave since they need extra exfoliation. When not in rush I use a body brush to remove ingrown hair and also to get rid of cellulite in the upper thigh region. It gives generous amount of lather, to the point that if at times I don’t have time to use a shave cream or body oil to shave, I just use this body wash to shave off my legs and when used under hot shower, it makes the entire process smooth and easy.

Conclusion: It is a good and affordable body wash which would do well in our shower routine and best of all it is a close dupe of a slightly more expensive body wash and is a perfect for thrifty buyers like me.

Pros of Equate Pink Himalayan Refreshing Body Wash:

• Long slim bottle which is easy to store and dispense product.
• Small quantity goes a long way.
• Very soothing aroma – reminds me of a floral body mist.
• Gives generous amount of lather.
• Small quantity is enough for large areas.
• Can be used for shaving legs.
• Exfoliates body when used with loofah or body brush.
• Leaves skin soft smooth.
• Close dupe of Dial Himalayan Salt body wash.

Cons of Equate Pink Himalayan Refreshing Body Wash:

• Can’t think of any.

Would I Repurchase Equate Pink Himalayan Refreshing Body Wash?
Usually I don’t repeat my body washes but I might make an exception in this case because my skin seems to like it; it gives a soft texture to my skin after I rinse and it is affordable compared to its slightly expensive cousin.
