Today, I am here to share my views on ESPA Smooth And Firm Body Butter. It is an intensely rich body butter which helps smooth, firm and tone the skin texture. Kindly read on to know more.

Hydrating larch and pumpkin seed extract helps smooth and firm while rose hip, argan oil and vitamin E nourish and even skin tone. Delicately fragranced with uplifting rose, patchouli and mandarin essential oils.
Recommended Use:
Use morning and evening after your bath or shower. Massage into skin in firm, upward, circular movements until fully absorbed. To enhance the benefits, use after body smoothing shower gel.

Packaging:
This body butter is packaged in a glass jar, which has a greyish blue coloured and a screw on cap. The cap has granules all over, which look attractive. It also has an inner good quality plastic cap for additional protection. However, the packaging cannot be termed travel-friendly, as size and glass jar add to the weight. This jar comes packaged in an aubergine coloured cardboard box.
My Experience with ESPA Smooth And Firm Body Butter:
A few months ago, I picked up a few body and facial skincare products from ESPA. Today, I am reviewing this body butter. Before I start, let me tell you my body skin type is normal to dry and sensitive. Currently, it is summer here and my skin is normal and does not tend to dry much. This body butter is a cream coloured, soft, smooth and velvety textured cream, which almost melts when comes in contact with the skin.
It is full of nourishing, aromatic oils, which smoothen and pamper the skin instantly. It has a velvety consistency and does not feel thick or heavy. It gets absorbed easily, but needs to be spread evenly and lightly massaged. After my morning shower, I first towel dry my body and then mildly massage this cream all over my hands, arms, shoulders and behind the neck on a daily basis.
My skin feels soft, smooth and supple. Regular usage of the cream results in toning and firming the skin texture. It has a mild aromatic flavour, which is very soothing to my senses. It does not dry or irritate my sensitive skin. It keeps my skin nourished and moisturised throughout the day. I feel this cream can work for all skin types and throughout all seasons. However, cannot comment about using it in extremely cold winters and for extremely dry skin types.
I like to apply a body cream or moisturiser to keep my hands and arms moisturised throughout the year, be it any season. I have been using this cream for the last two months or so and probably this will last me a month or two more. If I had to use it all over my legs and feet, this jar would last me a month or so. I personally feel this cream is a bit pricey for regular use, hence may not repurchase.
