Loose glitter particles turn the nails into a trendy accessory that’s suitable for any occasion – either as a complete manicure or on individual statement nails.
My Experience with Essence 02 Fame In A Bottle Loose Glitter:
The product comes in a tiny transparent glass with a white screw lid, supported by a cardboard package. You can see the pigment that you are buying right away. The basic information is given on the outer package, but on the bottle, there is very little information. There are 3 varieties available in this loose glitter range. I picked up all the 3 and this one, for obvious gold colour reason is my favorite. The small bottle is travel-friendly. There is no seal or a stopper on the mouth of the bottle and this makes it a bit difficult.
The glitter is bright gold in color and it sparkles! The particles are very soft and doesn’t cause any irritation. You can use the glitter alone or to create ombré effects with nail polishes. The options are endless with creativity. There is a lot of mess during application. Since, it is loose glitter and has no stopper, the small mouth makes it a bit difficult to take out the product. The application is pretty simple. You can apply nail paint or base coat and sprinkle the glitter and then press it gently, so that they stick onto the nail and finish it off with a top coat. The fine particles get everywhere; thus, care must be taken, so that you do not end up with glittery floors! I usually wash my hands thoroughly after the product is sealed and dried. The particles can cause irritation, if it comes in contact with your eyes. The finish is salon-like and with a little practice you can create amazing designs.
The product once sealed, do not splutter around. However, after using the top coat, it kind of bulges out and this makes me a little habitual to peel it out. The product stays on the nail for around a week and the sparkle remains for the entire week. The glitter is great, but it doesn’t stick onto the corners of your nails. If you try to rip it out, it pulls out the color too. So, using a nail polish glue can be a little handy. Since the bottle’s mouth is open when you directly use the bottle to sprinkle, it makes a lot of product to come out. And, using a spatula can also be tricky, when you have to sprinkle it by yourself. If you are able to get a little help, you can achieve amazing results. The loose glitter is meant only for the nails and not to be used as a glitter substitute for makeup.
