Essence 12 Black is The New Black Mono Eyeshadow Review

Hello beautiful ladies,

I bet most of us love to flaunt those beautifully kohled eyes! And even though I love some colors, my personal favorite is black. I have super oily upper and lower lids, and thus most of the times I end up with raccoon eyes irrespective of even buying the best gel liner, kajal or kohl. There were times when I had switched to liquid liner, but nothing can line up your eyes like kajal. So then, I had to research a lot of techniques and that is how I ended up buying this Essence 12 Black is The New Black Mono Eyeshadow.

My Experience with Essence 12 Black is The New Black Mono Eyeshadow:

One of the main reasons I wanted a black eye shadow is to reduce the appearance of raccoon eyes. I got to know that the gel liner or cream liner does not smudge when a layer of eyeshadow is applied. And I also wanted the pitch black colour. The product comes in a transparent plastic case. The product is not jet black, but it does justice when applied. The product is silky and has a powdery finish. There is no shimmer and it is mono black. It is also a great product that can be used as an eyebrow powder. The product is well pigmented, even after rubbing it 3-5 times, the shade remains. It can be easily washed off and doesn’t leave any residue.

The staying power is good. Even when the kajal has smeared off from my waterline, the eyeshadow powder keeps it in tact at least for 4-5 hours and after that I have to reapply to keep it in place; else it sits in the crease of my outer eye and I do not like it. Coming to the actual use, I have hardly used it over my lid, and did it only once when I was trying the smokey eyes look and I have to agree that it is well pigmented and is easy to blend. There is hardly any fallout from this product which I like a lot about. I cannot think of any other cons when it comes to this product. For my necessity, it is completely satisfactory.
