Today’s review is about Essence Quattro eyeshadow -13 Laugh Love Lime. Some time back, I was feeling low and wanted to do something wild. So, I picked up the Essence Quattro Eyeshadow which has shades of green. This eyeshadow is perfect to get creative with bold colors. I promise, you can have fun creating dramatic looks with these colors!

My Experience with Essence 13 Laugh, Love, Lime Quattro Eyeshadow:
The lightest color (glittery white) can be used to highlight eyebrows, inner corner of eyes and also as a highlighter on others parts of the face. The other 3 green ones are best used in creating smokey eyes look. The darkest shade can be used on the outer V and the medium colors can be used for the eyelids and creases. You can go ahead and use the medium color to the lower lash too which completes the look. I also add in gold shimmer to warm up the looks.
That is how I prefer to use it. If you feel smokey eye is too much for you, you can simply use just one color all over your eyelid and keep it simple. The only thing I don’t like about this product is that it’s heavy on shimmer in the lightest and darkest shades. So, it’s more appropriate for creating an evening or night look.
The product is very highly pigmented. You need to start with little and build up as required. Make sure to dust off the fallout during application from the rest of your face, otherwise it won’t give a very pleasant appearance. This is because the product is powdery. The packaging is nothing special. It comes in a round sturdy plastic case. There is no applicator or mirror included in the packaging. Overall, the packaging looks rather plain and there’s nothing to write home about!

Would I Repurchase Essence 13 Laugh, Love, Lime Quattro Eyeshadow?
This will last very very long as I would not use the color on a day to day basis. So, I don’t see a need to buy it again.

Yes, only if you are ready to experiment with fun and wild colors. People who like to go for conventional looks and colors for their eyes, skip this one!

The shades are indeed very fun in this one. But, I don’t feel they will flatter my skin. 🙁
Same pinch Shikha, these shades won’t suit my skin tone either :/
