My Experience with Essence 22 Ms. Moneypenny Long Lasting Eye Pencil:

It comes in a normal, color-coded, twist-up pencil packaging. I really like the color-coded packaging. The twist up mechanism is quite sturdy and I don’t feel it will get easily broken. It works smoothly and cap closes with a click. So overall, it is absolutely a travel-friendly pencil. Also, this pencil is quite affordable.

This long lasting eye pencil range has so many shades options to choose from. I picked this gorgeous ’22 Ms. Moneypenny’z shade. I love this cute name and, just like its name, the shade is also very cute. It’s a very beautiful warm beige shade with a hint of peach. It’s a metallic shade with finely milled shimmers which are not actually visible. These shimmers just impart a shine.

It looks so fresh and acts as a nude eye liner which helps to makes my eyes appear bigger. Also, it can be used as an inner corner highlighter. This is such a versatile shade. I also like its color pay off as it is decently pigmented; two to three swipes give nice, pigmented shade. Just one stroke is not enough for this light shade to show up properly.

It has a super soft, creamy texture which glides like a dream. The application is super smooth and easily provides an even line. There is no tugging during application, even on the waterline. It has a soft formula which never looks patchy or dry. I can easily draw a nice line on my upper eyelids. This liner has a pearly metallic finish which gives a very bright look to my eyes. It never irritates my sensitive eyes. The formula is average. It doesn’t really smudge, still it is not 100% smudge proof. I have super oily skin so if I rub my eyes the eyeliner looks a little faded from the corners. But, the color doesn’t transfer on its own. It has a waterproof formula. Overall, only rubbing can smudge it otherwise it stays put nicely on the eyes.

The brand says that it is a long lasting eye liner and it does stay well for really long. I have watery eyes and on my waterline it stays for over 5 hours, which is good enough for me. Overall it can survive for around 7-8 hours. As it’s a very light shade, it looks a little faded after 6 hours. But I mostly use this on my waterline so wish it stayed there for longer. Removing this liner is super easy though.

Overall, I really like this champagne beige shade which makes the eyes look brighter. It instantly makes my eyes appear bigger. It is a must-have shade which you can use so many times with various eye makeup looks. Also, it has a nice formula and good staying power.
