My Experience with Essence 78 Vanilla Milkshake Shimmer Effect Mono Eye Shadow:
The eye shadow comes in a simple circular transparent pan that closes with a dome-shaped lid. The lid shuts with an audible click and makes it travel-friendly. The brand name is mentioned in black on the lid. The shade name and other details are mentioned at the base of the packaging. The eye shadow has some beautiful patterns embossed on it. The eye shadow does not come up with any applicators.
Vanilla Milkshake is a pearly nude shade. It has some finely milled micro shimmers in it, which do not look chunky at all. Such shades work well for highlighting purposes. I use it for highlighting the inner corners of the eyes. The texture of the eyeshadow is soft and smooth. It glides smoothly all over the eyelids. Being a shimmery shade, it does fall out a bit. But there are no major fallout issues. The eye shadow is easy to blend.
It does not crease at all. The eye shadow is not waterproof. The pigmentation of the eye shadow is low. 3-4 swipes are required to build up the colour. The eyeshadow goes on so smoothly over the lids. The staying power of the eyeshadow is 4-5 hours with an eyeshadow primer underneath. Overall, I am pretty impressed with the quality of these mono eyeshadows from Essence.
