Essence Around Midnight Gel Eye Pencil Review

My Experience with Essence Around Midnight Gel Eye Pencil:

The pencil is a twist up one with color coded base and cap. The details about the pencil are mentioned on the body. Though it might look like a pencil that has to be sharpened but the base twists up the product. if you want a sharp tip for lining every time you use the pencil you have to use tip sharpeners as attached to some eye pencils like Rimmel.

The texture is smooth but not creamy. A bit more creamy texture would have been better but it is nothing of concern as the texture helps the color to stay longer on the lid and waterline. The pigmentation is good but two swipes are required to give the perfect color to the lids.

The shade is a dark blue with little shimmer which is not visible otherwise but adds to the beauty of the shade. The shade is very wearable and pairs beautifully with both traditional and western outfits. I pair it with muted pink lip color and blush.

The staying power is LONG…it stayed on my lids till the time I removed it with a makeup remover. I have worn it for 7 hours at a stretch and I found it to be comfortable all the way. For the records I had no primer on.
