Essence Berry Merry #18 Long Lasting Eye Pencil Review

My Experience with Essence Berry Merry #18 Long Lasting Eye Pencil:

The long lasting pencil liners by Essence are color coded and twist up style. Bits of information are printed on the body with silver color. The cap shuts with a click and hence is hassle-free to travel with. The packaging is simple, effective, lightweight and color coded…good enough for me.

The texture is again smooth but crumbly. The tip tends to break off which is so irritating. This crumbly texture leads the color to spread on the lashes and this give an untidy look. You have to be very careful while lining the lashline. It has super fine shimmers so I avoid the waterline but it looks lovely when applied at the lower lash line.

The shade is a muted shimmery purple. Looks great when paired with pink lip color and blush. The mascara is unavoidable because crumbs of the color are visible on the lashes. Except for this con I find the shades from the range versatile and wearable. The price point is again a pro, hence beginners can try out variety of shades.

The staying power varies from 3-4 hours in full gory. After that the shades starts to fade which is not a very pleasant sight as the fading is irregular and hence looks patchy. The pigmentation could have been better but since it is buildable, the intensity can be worked upon.
