I had a tough time resisting the urge to buy all the shades in this Essence Colour Boost Mad About Matte Liquid Lipstick range. I still dream about the shades I did not buy 😛 Does it happen to you all as well? I picked up 4 shades and I am happy with most of them. Essence Colour Boost Mad About Matte Liquid Lipstick Dangerously Yours is a mauve-dusty pink kind of a n*de pink, apt for Indian skin tones.
This lipstick comes housed in a tube and has an awesome wand inside. The lipstick is very well made in terms of color, quality, packaging and the applicator wand. I love the light powdery matte feel it has.
This liquid lipstick takes upto a minute to dry and then feels like a light even layer of a powder matte lipstick on the lips. It does not feel heavy at all, but does feel slightly taut on the lips. I think dry lips would need some lip balm prep prior to applying this liquid lipstick.
The color comes out true in one go – even, pigmented, and matte. A light layer would literally last all day if you don’t eat anything oily. Without getting too patchy, it would last 4 hours easily.
