Today’s review is about Essence Dip Eyeliner.

My Experience with Essence Dip Eyeliner – Black:
I have been using Lakme liquid eye liner from ages and am scared to change the product. I still can’t apply perfect eyeliner and struggle with it. Cat eye looks like a dream to me. I just can’t get both the eyes to look same! I am happy with the Lakme basic liquid eyeliner but wanted to try the Essence one since the wand has a stiff tip. Read on to know if it performed well for me.
Let’s start with the packaging first.
The eyeliner comes in a tube with a long slender lid. The lid is a screw lid and closes tightly and there is no chance of it opening it accidentally. The whole packaging is pretty small and slender. It fits easily within any pouch. The only thing I didn’t like about the packaging is the outer appearance. It looks little old and there is no fancy factor attached to it.
The wand needs to be pushed with little force into the base pot since the neck of the pot is very narrow. I think it’s made on purpose. The narrow neck prevents the product from drying out. In case the base pot drops when open, there is no chance of product spillage.
The wand is long and attached to the lid. The whole wand is easy to hold and also helps in application. The tip of the wand has no bristles and is soft but stiff. It feels more like a felt pen but even better. The eyeliner is so easy to apply that with one stroke you can line one eye.
The color of the liner is pitch black and looks little glossy. I love the way my eyes look after application. The liner is also long lasting. It lasts the whole day without flaking or fading. The liner also dries very quickly when applied.
This particular eyeliner is not waterproof. There is a waterproof version available too but I don’t prefer it.
The eyeliner is also easy to remove with eye makeup remover or even face wash.
Overall I am pretty impressed with the product. It’s not expensive too. I think I will switch to this till I find a better one.

Surely as it’s definitely better than the Lakme eyeliner I am currently using. I shall continue to buy it till I find a better one.
