Hope you are having a great day! Today, I am reviewing a 6 pan eye shadow palette from Essence. This is called the “All About Sunrise” eye shadow palette (03).

My Experience with Essence Eye Shadow Palette –  All About Sunrise 03:

Essence eye shadows, in general, are really good, with good pigmentation and silky texture. I have enjoyed using their single shadows. So when Essence released five six-pan eye shadow palettes as part of their “All About” range, I was really excited! After trying the Essence “All About Nude” palette, I picked up the “All About Sunrise” palette.

Packaging:

The eyeshadows come in a six pan plastic case with a transparent lid which closes securely. It is travel friendly and the transparent lid makes it easier to spot the palette you are looking for in your collection, without having to open the lid. There is no mirror or brush provided along with this palette. I am okay with that as in most cases the brush/sponge tip applicator provided is not very useful.

Color and Finish:

All the six eyeshadows are warm shades with a shimmer or satin finish. The colors are gorgeous with a beautiful gold and orange, reminding you of sunrise. The palette seems to be aptly named! Here is a description of the individual shades:

Shade 1 – Off-white with a shimmer finish.
Shade 2 – Light Gold with a shimmer finish.
Shade 3 –Taupe with a shimmer finish.
Shade 4 – Gold with a shimmer finish.
Shade 5 – Medium orange with a shimmer finish.
Shade 6 –Plum Brown with a satin finish.

The gold and orange colors make this perfect for festive looks. You can, of course, use the lighter shades for a regular everyday look too. Most colors are shimmery. So people who do not like shimmery shadows should probably skip it.

Texture:

The texture of all the shadows is very smooth and creamy. They are easy to apply and easy to blend.

Pigmentation and Longevity:

The pigmentation of all colors, even the light ones, is really good even without a primer. They also last for a long time. Without a primer, they last for around 6 hours on my oily lids and with a primer, they stay on for over 8 hours before they start fading slightly.

• Lasts for a decent amount of time on the lids.

• No mirror/brush can be a con for some.

Would I Recommend Essence Eye Shadow Palette –  All About Sunrise 03?

I would definitely recommend this palette. The shades are so pretty and so pigmented that you cannot believe that it is so inexpensive. Do try it if you get a chance!
