Today’s product is eyeshadow brush from Essence. Other than being reasonably priced what I like is that the products are not tested on animals. Read on further to know to buy it or bash it.

Product Description: Eyeshadow brush with soft hair for precise application of loose or pressed eyeshadow.

Price: Rs.129/-

Packaging: The brush has plastic body and smooth purple bristles. It is very light weight and sturdy. The brush comes in plastic packaging.

My Experience with Essence Eyeshadow Brush:

It’s a paddle eyeshadow brush. So the application is very easy. The bristle are soft and stiff at the same time. Since they’re cruelty free, the brush has synthetic bristles. Some ends of the bristle are not soft so feels scratchy on the lids. It doesn’t pick up much colour on the first go. I use VOV eyeshadow, maybe they’re at fault. I think the brush will work differently with Essence eyeshadows. The plastic case mentioned that it is made in China which is absurd because Essence is a German brand.

I noticed some shedding of bristle after first wash. But then on the second wash shedding was reduced. It also helps to fill colour in the crease as it is small.

Cons of Essence Eyeshadow Brush:

• The bristles could’ve been better.
• Availability.

Final Verdict: I expected a little more performance after reading smokey brush review but I was left disappointed. I don’t regret investing in it because I’m a beginner but I’m not re-purchasing it for sure.
