Essence Groovy Grass #21 Long Lasting Eye Pencil Review

I was super excited to spot the Essence counter at the local mart and so picked up a few long lasting eyeliners. Here is the review on the shade Groovy Grass. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Essence Groovy Grass #21 Long Lasting Eye Pencil:

The long lasting pencil liners by Essence are color coded and twist up style. Bits of information are printed on the body with silver color. The cap shuts with a click and hence is hassle-free to travel with. The packaging is simple, effective, lightweight and color coded…good enough for me.

The texture is smooth but crumbly. The tip tends to break off which is so irritating. This crumbly texture leads the color to spread on the lashes and this give an untidy look. You have to be very careful while lining the lashline. It has super fine shimmers so I avoid the waterline but it looks lovely when applied at the lower lash line.

The shade is a pale fluro green with superfine shimmers. The name and the shade remind me of the new tufts of grass after the rains. It is fresh and bright but not OTT. I like pairing it with peach lip color and blush. Mostly a day wear, especially in the summers, I quite like the uniqueness of the shade.

The staying power varies from 3-4 hours in full gory. After that the shades starts to fade which is not a very pleasant sight as the fading is irregular and hence looks patchy.
