Essence Honey Care Smoothing Nail and Cuticle Scrub comes in a small plastic transparent pot with an aluminium screw cap. The cap looks similar to the Maybelline gel eyeliners. The cap can be easily dented. There is all the necessary information on the pot. Since it is a transparent packaging, one can check how much of the product is left inside. Overall, the packaging is cute and travel-friendly.

The scrub is creamy and has a honey-like colour; it looks more like a mashed banana. It is thick and has minute grains for scrubbing. Also, it has a pleasant smell, which I love. The application is pretty easy. You just need to apply the product and massage it onto your nails and the surrounding skin, leave it for 1-2 minutes and then, wipe or wash off with warm water.

The scrub has a sticky kind of texture that is easy to apply on the nails and massage. It doesn’t drip or mess around during the massage. The tiny granules gently buff away the impurities from the top of the nails thereby, providing a smooth finish. The product doesn’t get absorbed into the skin and thus, it has to be washed or wiped off. The scrub is very gentle on the skin and it might not be a good product for removing the cuticles.

The only downside is that it makes the skin greasy, which must be removed with a cloth or washed off in water, so the process is long. The scrub is non-abrasive and a perfect option for making your manicure last long.
