Essence Kajal Pencil-Behind the Scenes

Essence is one brand on which I am hooked on right now. Summers are going on so I am trying all different shades of eye liners. Apart from the colourful ones, I got two more shades which are on a grey base. This brand is super affordable which helps me to try out everything that I want to. Let’s see how this shade called “Behind the scenes” worked for me.

My experience with Essence Kajal Pencil-Behind the Scenes:
I got two shades from essence called behind the scenes and feel the eclipse. Essence kajal pencils are very simple in packaging with the outer packaging as same as the shade inside. It is a slim cylindrical one and very easy to carry as well. This shade is a metallic grey one and very different from the other shades I have used. The quantity is very good for the price and very affordable too. The shade is a lovely night time one and has little shimmers in it as well. The shimmers make the shade look even prettier. The shade is somewhere between silver and grey or say a blend of them. This shade also looks very beautiful if merged and applied with some other shade.
The texture is very soft and creamy and glides very smoothly under the eyes and on the eyelids as well. But the negative point is that it breaks very quickly even if a little pressure is applied. In order to get the proper colour it has to be given a little pressure while swiping which wastes half of the product. Hence it breaks near the eyes itself while applying. Also due to its creaminess the product gets accumulated on the lower lashes while applying which makes them stick together. Also the product wastage is very much when sharpening.
The shade is a very beautiful one and gives a nice shine under the eyes. It stays on for like 3 hours and then starts to smudge. It is not water-proof. The shimmers then start to appear after smudging but it does not create a raccoon look. It appears on the waterline initially but fades in like 30 minutes or so. It also comes off easily with a make-up remover as well. As of now I like this shade a lot and looks very different when applied but have a little problem with the texture.

-Easily comes off with the help of a make-up remover
Cons of Essence Kajal Pencil-Behind the Scenes:
-Breaks very easily and causes a lot of product wastage
-Not suitable for waterline
-The product gets accumulated on the eyelashes while applying
-Not water or tear-proof
Will I repurchase/recommend Essence Kajal Pencil-Behind the Scenes?
Yes, but ofcourse! It is a beautiful shade and I seriously enjoy wearing it a lot. It is a perfect shade for parties and clubbing and I definitely recommend it if you can handle the cons.
