Essence Kajal pencil in Taupe Me

Today’s review is going to be about Essence Kajal pencil. I used to use a lot of coloured Kajals on my eyes when I was in junior college. I had many of them. Then when I joined Engineering college, I stopped using them because I had no time in the morning! But when I saw the gorgeous Tom Ford eye pencil in Mink, I knew, I had to get similar shade! My love for coloured eye liners was hence rediscovered! 😀 So I looked up online, did a bit research and zeroed in on Essence’s ‘Taupe Me’. Lets get into the review!

My experience with Essence Kajal Pencil in Taupe Me:
I had seen Youtube beauty gurus using Taupe eye shadow and pencil. I loved the colour then, I love it as much now. So when I came to know that Essence also carried Taupe coloured Kajal, I rushed to the beauty centre to get myself this one. Essence Kajal comes in a sleek wooden body with then name and everything written in silver. The cap is silver too and fits nicely. The kajal needs to be sharped whenever the tip goes blunt. It’s easy to find the colour in your cosmetics drawer because the outer body is same as the kajal’s colour. The packaging is nothing great but it’s okay and travel friendly.
The colour, as I said, I love it. It’s metallic brown-grey in colour. It’s an awesome shade! Can be worn to college or a party or even office. The kajal is creamy and glides on so easily. It needs two swipes to deposit deep Taupe colour on your eyes. I like the pigmentation. It’s the most gorgeous colour according to me! An easy replacement to the boring black! This shade isn’t smudge proof and it lasts a maximum of three hours. Also, the tip melts very easily as it is so creamy and is not water proof. But for this price, I am ready for a little compromise.

Final Verdict: It’s a great shade if you want to replace your black kajal but do not want to go for coloured ones like blue and green. It can be worn as a part of day look as well as night look. I love the shade! And I do recommend you give this product a try!
