Essence Kajal Pencil in White Review
Hello Ladies,
How are the Christmas preparations coming along? Stockings filled? Gifts wrapped? Cakes , turkey, wine, chocolates, bought? I don’t have any “official” celebrations lined up since dad is away with work. And neither have I made any plans for New Years. I know, I am living in some other world altogether. Anyways, let’s not get there, today I am reviewing the Essence Kajal Pencil in White for you all. Oh and before I forget, from today we begin the grand celebrations on EMBB, which means a lot of fun posts, reviews and all that jazz. So yeyyyy……the festive season is here.

My thoughts on the Essence Kajal Pencil in White:
I had been to get NYX Jumbo Pencil in White but as usual it was out of stock. I tried the Rimmel Eye Pencil in White, but somehow got tempted with the Essence Kajal Pencil in White, it was the price may be. 😛 Anyways, I picked the Essence Kajal Pencil in White for one more reason it was amazingly soft and creamy when I swatched it at the counter.
I have been using the Essence Kajal Pencil in White for quiet sometime now, and have been intending to review it since long. I have such mixed reactions about this one.
It is all creamy and soft and pigmented, but I reach out to it very rarely. I was expecting a multi tasking eye pencil which I could use for brightening my eyes and also using it as a base for my eyeshadows.
The Essence Kajal Pencil in White, is such a dud of a product. I mean it looks gorgeous when applied on the waterline but that beauty is very short lived. Say just for a few hours. It is bright initially and when it fades, it makes my eyes look sick. It fades miserably.
The texture of the pencil is as mentioned above very creamy and soft, but this is both a pro and con for the product. Being creamy it glides on the without tugging and pulling. And the con is it gets so much messier by getting into your lower lashes and corners of the eyes. It also doesn’t sharpen well, with a lot of product wastage due to its softness.
It doesn’t work as eyeliner, neither does it work as an base for eyeshadows. Due to its creamy nature, it creases horribly.
I am not at all happy, such a waste of a product, but I am guessing the black one would look atleast better since it may give that smudgy look to the eyes. And since it was dirt cheap not a heavy damage has been made to the pocket too.
All in all, I am not finding words to tell you how badly it failed on me.
I definitely don’t see myself buying these again although they are highly tempting.
I don’t even feel like rating it.
