My Experience with Essence Kissed By The Sun Mosaic Blush:

The blush comes in a clear plastic pan. The base of the pan bears a label including the shade name and other product-related information. The pan closes nicely with a clear flip top cap that shuts tightly making an audible click. The lid has the brand’s tagline and range name printed on it in simple black fonts. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly, but I wish they had provided a mirror and an applicator with this packaging.

The blush comes in four variants – I have got this “Kissed By The Sun” variant. As this is a mosaic blush, it has three different shades arranged in a 3-D mosaic pattern. The blush looks so beautiful in the pan. Out of the three shades, one is a gorgeous champagne gold shade, the second one is the peach shade and the third one is a dusty brown shade. All the three shades when swirled together look like a beautiful gold highlighter.

Though, it is a blush but the color does not show up properly on my skin tone. All the colors just mix up with my skin tone and only the shimmers are visible. This shade is too light for Indian skin tones and will exclusively flatter very fair skin tones. It will serve as a blush for fair skin tones only, but I quite like it as a highlighter as it adds a nice and subtle glow to the face without looking over the top.

It is actually average in terms of pigmentation. It needs to be layered on and on to get the perfect color and finish. The shimmery finish makes it unsuitable for daytime use.

The texture of the blush is soft and smooth. It glides on the skin smoothly and is very easy to blend. The formula is not powdery and there’s hardly any fallout issue with this product, but it emphasizes facial pores and dry patches badly. With a primer and foundation on, it lasts 4-5 hours after which it starts to fade away. The staying power is just average. In the mean time, the shimmers tend to transfer a lot.
