After reviewing a series of pencils and glitter products, here is something different, and it’s a mascara from Essence cosmetics. I was planning to get a pair of false lashes for the festive season, but I lost my confidence after seeing Anushka Sharma’s picture where her false lashes had come off! It will be very embarrassing if that happens to me too. Also, if I do not clean the lashes properly (which is possible considering how lazy I am), I may end up with an eye infection. So judging all the pros and cons, I decided to go for mascara that could give me similar effects. I purchased this Essence mascara because of the nam “false lashes mascara.” Let’s see if it lived up to my expectations or not.

My Experience with Essence Lash Mania Reloaded False Lash Mascara:
The mascara comes in a black and grey plastic tube, with name and other details mentioned on it. This packaging is lightweight and can easily fit in your bag. However, no outer carton is provided with it and the glossy body can get scratches easily (my one got horribly scratched during the delivery process). The packaging looks a little cheap, but considering the price, it is quite okay I guess.
I needed this mascara to get an effect similar to falsies, i.e., curved and defined lashes with good length and volume. Although this one is good for everyday need, it cannot really give “false lash” effect. The wand is spiky and has a rubbery feeling. When you apply the product on your upper lashes, it tugs them a little, providing some curve. It definitely adds some definition to the lashes. However, if you coat more than once, it gets clumpy.
It was a little dry when I started using it, and I had to add some amount of lens solution to it and now it is pretty smooth. This one dries pretty fast too. However, it cannot be used on the lower lashes and can create a mess there. L’Oreal Million Lashes mascara is far better than this one in mimicking the false lash effect.
Overall, this is a good mascara for daily needs; however, you should not trust this one on special days and you should check out something better.

- Gets clumpy when 2-3 coats are applied.
- Cannot be applied on the lower lashes.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Essence Lash Mania Reloaded False Lash Mascara?
No, I will try something else. I don’t recommend this mascara. However, if you are looking for a cheap option for daily use, you may opt for this.
