Perfumes are something we cannot live without! Who doesn’t want to smell wonderful always? I have been using Si Perfume oil for a long time now. Believe me that 30ml bottle is not even half empty! Phewww, I never thought it lasts so long! Anyway, I wanted to buy a budget perfume to keep in my bag always during emergencies if I ever forgot to apply the perfume in rush (happens many times) or the smell wears off. What better brand than Essence when it comes to budget buys, so here you go. Read on to know more about the EDT.

What the company claims:

The top note with red grapefruit, mango and tangerine creates a fruity freshness. Alcohol Denat., Aqua (Water), Parfum (Fragrance), Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Ci 16035 (Red 40), Ci 17200 (Red 33).

My Experience with Essence Like An Unforgettable Kiss EDT:

There were many choices in the EDTs available and when I asked Jomol, she replied “Essence Unforgettable Kiss-approved”. I am so happy that she suggested that, as I am bad at making choices and due to her response I knew what I had to pick and I love the smell!

The EDT comes in a sealed box. For someone like me who wants everything to be sealed so that it is not tampered with, this was very good! The box is so girly and I did not have the heart to throw it. When I opened the box and pulled out the perfume, it was the prettiest bottle I have ever seen. It had a cute ribbon tied to its neck. The EDT comes in an oval glass bottle with a glass cap which makes it a little bulky but the cap is very tight.

The perfume is very sweet smelling with hints of mango and citrus. The base note are vanilla, sandalwood and musk. The perfume is very girly and a perfect one for the summer. The first spray is very strong and it takes some time to settle down and the fruity smell to linger. The smell reminds me of a very high end celebrity perfume, I am unable to remember the name, but will surely let you know if I do!

The longevity is what astonished me, I never expected that a budget perfume lasts long. I spray a total of 6 pumps usually, on the side of my ears, on my wrists and behind my knee and the smell lingered for almost a day and I didn’t need reapplication! Pretty amazing. The only downside is the content of alcohol it has! It has 80% of alcohol, which is a little dangerous with the heat and also can cause dryness. But, overall Essence Like An Unforgettable Kiss is a beautiful, fruity, girly and a sweet fragrance that lasts long and is a must have summer product!
