Makeup brushes play a really important role in our makeup routine; they make our makeup looks appear flawless and professional. I observed that bold lip colours look really tacky and less classy if they go even a little outside the natural lip outline. So to achieve the super perfect look, I picked up a very basic brush from Essence to see how lip brushes work. So let’s begin.
Tool time! This practical helper allows a professional application of colour on your lips. The micro-fine nylon bristles are especially soft and allow you to fill in the contours of your lips accurately. The brush is also an ideal travel companion thanks to its sealable, reusable pouch.
My Experience with Essence Lip Brush:
The Essence lip brush seems to be a new launch because I hadn’t spotted this earlier at the counter. The packaging is white with pink floral design that adds some spice. Inside the pack, sits the lip brush looking super cute. The lip brush is extremely sleek, like the usual lip brushes, but the packaging in bright baby pink colour makes it stand apart.
The quality looks really good according to the price and it is a great one for beginners. One brush is definitely going to go a long way. The bristles on the lip brush are even and soft, but at the same time, they are good enough to apply the lip color smoothly. The bristles don’t slip down from the lips in any way. The brush does not shed any bristles, which is the best part about this one. It makes my lipstick application very smooth, giving a perfectly defined lip shape.
My lipstick looks very professionally and flawlessly applied whenever I use this lip brush. The lip colour does not smudge even a little outside my natural lip outline. The lipstick bullet is usually huge which is why it can cause certain imperfections, but with this lip brush I can create the shape of my lips the way I want. The only thing with the brush is that it picks up very little quantity of the lipstick which is why I need to spend a good amount of time just for applying a lipstick.
I find applying the lipstick directly much more convenient because I am not as patient to use a lip brush each time. This is why my usage of this lip brush is going to be very restricted. But this is my con and not the lip brush’s. 😛 I absolutely love this lip brush because it does everything it claims. So if you want to buy a decent one, then this might be a good pick!
Pros of Essence Lip Brush:
• The lip brush looks super cute in the sleek pink packaging
• Very affordable and will go a long way
• Travel-friendly due to its petite size
• It does not shed any bristles
• The bristles are very soft and glide smoothly on the lips
• It helps me get a perfect pout by creating a defined outline for my lips
• Makes lipstick application perfect and professional
• Essence does not test on animals
Cons of Essence Lip Brush:
• It picks up very little product at once, which consumes a lot of time
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Essence Lip Brush?
I think this will take forever to shed out its bristles and become old, so no plans yet. But yes, highly recommended because it works in a very decent manner. It is so budget-friendly too. And, the cherry on the cake is that it looks so cute.
I really cannot resist picking up Essence products because the packaging is always so alluring. I am always waiting for them to launch something new.
