Essence Lip Liner Cute Pink Review

Essence Lip Liner Cute Pink

Today I am reviewing essence lip liner. A lip liner is a great option for those who want to make their lipsticks last longer and to prevent it from feathering. Whenever I wear any creamy lipstick no matter what it will always feather, to prevent that a lip liner is a must for me. Anyways I tend to wear lip glosses a lot and I mostly pair it with a lip liner. I have tried many lip liners, but I just could not stop myself from buying this one considering the price at which it came at.

My Experience with Essence Lip Liner Cute pink:

The packaging is simple wooden pencil which needs to be sharpened. The pencil comes in the same color as the shade; it helps in selecting the shade. The name itself describes the color really well. I just love this particular shade of pink; it is a perfect pink not too dark not too light. This is such a shade that will not wash out any skin tones, but at the same time is not very dark as well. I like wearing it on its own as well because of the beautiful color and creamy texture. It does not dry out my lips and feels very comfortable and lightweight. The pigmentation is great and will cover pigmented lips very well. The texture is soft and creamy and absolutely no tugging. Even though it is soft it does not smudge at all. It blends very easily with a brush or a finger.
The finish it gives is a natural matte; it does not make my lips look dry or something and does not contain shimmers at all. It lasts for a good amount of time for 4-5 hours and with meals a little less. It does make my lipsticks and lip glosses last longer than usual and also prevents them from bleeding and feathering. To make it last longer I simply blot my lips with a tissue after applying and this way it lasts for 5-6 hours easily. In all it is a great base for lipsticks and lip glosses and also on its own and also to pair with lipsticks that are little lighter. The only problem for me though is sharpening, I am lazy person. And it is very soft and sometimes the tip breaks wile sharpening.

  1. That’s a pretty nice color looking good on u…..
I have one query I may sound foolish but seriously I thought to ask ….is this the way we apply lip liner like on whole lips….or you have applied some lipstick…….m not aware what is the use of lip liners…as I’m not a makeup person so m just not aware about anything..hope ull make my silly doubt’s clear

    1. Puja,
You could use a lip liner to
      1. line your lips only: This prevents bleeding/feathering of lipsticks.
      2. cheat/correct your lip shape: By drawing a bit outside your lip line, you can correct your lip shape or give the impression of fuller lips.
      3. fill in your lips: This should be done only on moisturized lips. This can act as a base to your lipstick and make it last much longer or this can be worn on its own if the texture of the lip pencil is nice enough and your lips aren’t too dry.
      Hope this answers your query.

    2. It is completely fine Puja 🙂 ,a lip liner can be used to line lips as well as to fill in whole lips to act as a base for lipsticks and lip glosses as it extends their wear time, it can also be used alone on it own on entire lips, it gives a matte look. here i have filled my entire lips with it and not lined it to show the complete color payoff, or else it would merge with my natural lip color, i hope i answered your doubt 🙂
