Essence Lipstick – Red Carpet Review

Essence Lipstick – Red Carpet Review

Hey Everyone!

Hope all of you are enjoying this festivity in air. Today, I am telling you about a beautiful coral red lipstick from Essence.  Red lips intimidate almost all of us, but lately, I have found a way out of this situation. I have started experimenting on various hues of red and gradually I feel much more comfortable flaunting red lips. Red Carpet from Essence is a medium coral red with soft and smooth texture. This lipstick just glides on your lips smoothly leaving a bright colour. Just a single swipe gives a bold yet soft shade to lips. These are non drying and have cute-coloured packaging, which makes them very easy to recognize from your stash. It imparts a little glossy look and has a sweet scent somewhat like play doh 😛

These don’t have great staying time, but I can’t complaint at this price and moreover, 2-3 hours is a decent time for re-touching, otherwise how are we going to reach the bottom 😛

$2.49/Rs. 140 approximately.

Pros of Essence Lipstick – Red Carpet:

  • An adorable shade of red.
  • Creamy finish.
  • Smooth and easy application.
  • Sweet fragrance.
  • Moisturizing for lips.
  • Lovely packaging.

Cons of Essence Lipstick – Red Carpet:

  • Some of you might not like the scent it has.
  • I don’t find the packaging sturdy, the bullet is shaky.

Apart from this, all is well with this lipstick.  I already have another shade in nude from this range and of course I am eyeing some more. Just waiting for someone to come from US with my next package of makeup!
