My Experience with Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil – Black Fever
Of late I have been loving products from essence. They are are of great quality and extremely affordable and the best thing they do not test on animals. The eye pencil comes in a twist up packaging, which I prefer more over the sharpening ones. The cap is tight and pencil is small and travel friendly. The texture is very smooth and glides like butter no tugging at all. It is extremely pigmented and has a good color pay off in a single swipe and the finish is matte. Even though it is smooth and creamy the tip does not break while applying it.
I always prefer smooth eye pencils, as I can smudge it out a bit. When applied it sets within a minute and becomes smudge proof. It claims to be long lasting and it actually is . On me it lasts for 7 hours on my waterline after that it starts smudging which is good as no eye pencils last beyond 6 hours, and on eyelid it lasts for whole day literally. Even after splashing water on my face and eyes it stays on, it is water resistant. But when I want it to last long on my waterline , what I do is set it with a black eye shadow and that way it lasts for the whole day. In terms of texture and pigmentation it is very similar to lakme eye conic kajal. The only difference being this eye pencil is available in many shades. Yes there are six colorful shades with the same formulation. I have sensitive eyes and it has never made my eyes watery unlike other I pencils, so I am really happy with my purchase.
Pros of Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil – Black Fever:
• Smooth and creamy
• Extremely pigmented and matte finish
• Does not smudge and long lasting
• Safe for sensitive eyes
• Not tested on Animals
• Six shades available
Cons of Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil – Black Fever:
• I wish it lasted little more on my waterline.
(But that can be solved by setting with a black eye shadow)
Recommendation- I definitely recommend it to everyone, they have some amazing colors, and I will try some other shades as well.
