Essence Long Lasting Eyeshadow Cream Review

Essence Long Lasting Eyeshadow Cream Review

Hey Everyone,

I have had these cream eyeshadows from Essence for quite some time, but never did it cross my mind to review them for you. I bought two colors so far and they are very wearable and neutral.

The packaging is so adorable, I just love holding the little pots and opening and closing them.  Anyone else, weird like this? The pots are made out of plastic which is a huge plus because sometimes I tend to drop them and with them being plastic, they won’t break easily.

They are also a lot lighter because of the pots being made out of plastic. I like that because I hate to carry cosmetics in my purse that are heavy and make my shoulder hurt after a while.  The gold shade is called “It’s Magic – 01” and the bronze-y shade is called “Raise The Curtain For – 02.”

Both creams are very pigmented and long lasting. It didn’t crease until 7 hours later, but I did notice that if you put too much, it can look weird meaning it may look tacky (clumpy).

Raise the Curtain For

These cream shadows are great to wear on their own or to use as an eyeshadow base. I love multi-purpose products.  The expiration date is 12 months which is not too much, but better than just 3 or 6 months. In my opinion, both cream shadows have a lot of product in them (5.5 g/0.19 oz).  A little bit goes a long way!

Here are some more pictures.

Ughh a little bit too dark!!

Pros of Essence Long Lasting Eyeshadow Cream:

  • Super pigmented.
  • Very affordable.
  • Long lasting, 7 hours.
  • Multi-purpose, can be used as a base or can be worn just by itself.
  • Very wearable.

Cons of Essence Long Lasting Eyeshadow Cream:

  • Expiration date is 12 months.
  • If you put too much on your eyelid, it can look clumpy.

Last Word on Essence Long Lasting Eyeshadow Cream:

My tip is to use this cream eyeshadow with fingers. Your finger is warm and it will warm up the product and make it glide on your eyelid easier. It will also help the shadow to not look tacky. Overall, I am liking these cream eyeshadows even though Essence tends to make cheap quality products, but I am recommending these cream eyeshadows.

Thank you for reading this review loves! xoxo
