Essence Multi Colour Blush Review

Essence Multi Colour Blush Review

Dear All,

I am a big fan of Essence products for their price and quality. I love their kajal which makes it super easy to do smokey eye in minutes and their metallic eyeshadow is one of my favourites.  Today, I will be reviewing their multi color blush in the shade 10 “How Cute Is That.” So, did it pass my test? Let’s read below to find out:

Essence Multi Colour Blush Review

Product Description:

Essence Multi Color Blush

Packaging:

First of all, I love the name of the blush, “How Cute Is That” much better than single names and numbers, don’t you think? The blush contains 5 gm of the product and costs between 2 – 3 euros. It comes in a transparent packaging and is quite sturdy. I love how cute all those 5 colors look together, it would be a perfect gift for college-going girls, it looks pretty and its cheap!

My Experience with Essence Multi Colour Blush:

This is one of the first products from Essence which has disappointed me. The texture feels dry and chalky and not at all satiny or smooth. Also, the pigmentation is not impressive at all. The first 3 colors, i.e., white, baby pink and baby peach hardly show up.  Only the last 2 colors are decently pigmented. All the colors mixed together give a peachy flush on the cheeks which hardly shows up on my skin tone.

Essence Multi Color Blush

I have to apply it 4 to 5 times for a little color to show up.  The lasting power again is sad. It hardly stays on for like 2 hours or so 🙁 Overall, its a dud product and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pros of Essence Multi Colour Blush:

  • The colors might show up on pale to very fair skin tones.

Cons of Essence Multi Colour Blush:

  • The texture feels chalky.
  • Not enough pigmentation and you need to swipe your brush 4 to 5 times to get that little color on to the cheeks.
  • No staying power, hardly stays on for 2 hours or so.
  • Will not show up on our Indian skin tones.
  • Not available in India.

IMBB Rating:

2/5.

I honestly don’t recommend this blush to anyone, you are better off without it!

Hope this review was helpful.  Until next time, take care and stay beautiful.

  1. lovely colors and i love the concept of having more than one shade in a single palette.. but pigmentation… 🙁 🙁 🙁

  2. you know I sort of like these multi color blushes. I mean it’s all in one package. sad it turned out to be a dud. i thought all essence products were awesome…

    1. totally agree with u and was happy when i saw this one coz it’ll be useful while travelling n u dont have to take entire bunch of products..one will do it all but the pigmentation is really bad n chalky texture..i guess not all essence products are must have 🙂

  3. Oh its such a surprise to know it didn’t work for you, I’ve only had great experience with Essence stuff…the colors look very pretty to me though 🙂
