When I saw essence online, the beauty product reviewer and lover in me was excited to try them.So I got some essential stuff from them and so far my feelings have been mediocre, they are nothing great or many just right in terms of what you pay. The brushes I got have kinda amazed me as they are really soft to start with and they do not fluff up like the Colorbar ones.:p This brush could have been a hit if it not so flat.

The brush comes in a simple pack and costs just right to try it out. The brush is so pretty with its black and purple bristles. The brush is synthetic IMO and feels very soft really silky soft. The shape is like a paddle and it is kind of flat. honestly how does one apply powder with a flat brush! I like the short stubby handle it has.
I like rounded brushes are the top of little fluffy or may be denser brushes to use for powder.
The brush picks up powder on the sides mainly not at the top so I am not sure how much coverage it is giving me. Well I have to say it is awesome to use under the eyes and corners of the face since it is so flat. You could also use it to cut contour may be since it is flat and slim at the top. But for powder I am not so impressed.

It washes well, no shedding at all and the bristles do not get rough or loose shape, the silky bristles are the most impressive. You can try it if you are okay with the paddle flat kind of shape it has.

And this brush is so cute and girly. Though yes as you said, it would have been much better if it was rounded and fluffier. *hihi*

  2. I have some products from essence not purchased any brushes yet , good to throw in to the handbag as a spare, what a bargain *woot*

  3. the brush is pretty as the one blush brush i have but i wasn’t satisfied with the bristles density when i touched it at store…
