My Experience with Essence Silky Touch Blush 20 Babydoll:
Essence Silky Touch Blush 20 Babydoll comes in a transparent plastic pan with a see-through lid so, one can easily spot the shade from the makeup stash. There is a label at the base of the pan that bears the shade name and other product-related information. The lid closes tightly making an audible click sound, and thus it is travel-friendly. The lid has the brand’s tagline and range name printed on it in simple silver fonts. There is no mirror or applicator provided with the packaging. Otherwise, the packaging is nice and travel-friendly.
Essence Silk Touch Range comes in an array of shades, and I bought the shade “Babydoll”. This shade is a beautiful peachy pink shade with finely milled micro-shimmers. The blush looks so beautiful in the pan and has some patterns carved on it. The shade is soft and great for everyday use. The shimmers in the blush are non-chunky, which make this blush fit for daytime use.
The shade is suitable for fairer skin tones. It suits my skin tone very well and adds a nice pinky glow to my cheeks. The color shows up properly on my skin in two-three swipes. The blush is good in terms of pigmentation but still, I need 2-3 swipes to build up the colors properly. Since the blush is not insanely pigmented, it is suitable for beginners as one can easily build up the color intensity according to their choice without having a fear of getting clown-like cheeks.
The texture of the blush is soft, smooth and powdery. It tends to fall out a little while picking up the product from the pan. It glides on the skin smoothly and blends into the skin like a dream within seconds. It looks nice on the cheeks but, it may highlight dry patches. So, it is necessary to nourish the skin properly before using this product. However, it does not emphasise the skin pores and blends seamlessly.
The longevity of this blush is somewhere around 3-3.5 hours with a primer. I have a habit of touching my face. Therefore, the lasting power of this product is really not much appreciable.
