Essence Stay Natural Concealer in 04 Soft Honey
Concealer are extremely important, and they are a must have for my under eye dark circles. They just give an instant eyelift. I was looking for a good under eye concealer and I saw this, it was very affordable so I though why not give it a try.

Price: Rs 199 for1.5 ml.
Description: Essence stay natural concealer naturally covers imperfections and reduces dark circles with vitamin A.

Shades available:
01-Soft beige
02- Soft sand
03- Soft nude
04 -Soft honey – The shade which I have.
When I switched all the shades, I noticed that the shade 01 and 03 are pink based whereas 02 and 04 are yellow based.
Packaging: It is extremely compact and a pen like product. When you twist the product comes out. The packaging is very similar to that of Maybelline dream lumi highlighter.
Brush applicator: The applicator is really good; it is a synthetic bristle brush and applies the concealer extremely well without any streaks.
My Experience with Essence Stay Natural Concealer in 04 Soft Honey:
It was a random purchase. Currently I was having only a cream concealer so I went ahead with this one, as it was a liquid concealer. Also after having a disaster with Maybelline dream lumi highlighter, I wanted to try this one. The Maybelline one was a good concealer and highlighter but because of the SA I went for the wrong shade in Buff and it turned to to be extremely light and ashy for me and ended up using it as a brow bone highlight. So for this one I went for the darkest shade soft honey and it is a pretty good match for my NC 40 skin tone. But if you are darker than it will look ashy on you. I first time I remember, I had to literally twist 100 times to get the product out, at first I though it is empty. This product does not cover extreme dark circles on its own, but works well when used with a corrector underneath. The consistency is very thick and a little goes a long way. It is not extremely dry or creamy I find the consistency to be perfect, and that is the reason it does not look cakey at all. I do not have wrinkles but do haves lines under my eyes, this concealer does not sit in them and makes it look creepy. Prepping under eyes before applying any concealer does help.
Shade selection is good but there are not many shades for darker skin tone. If you are above NC 40 in Mac, then the darkest shade will also look ashy on you. I really liked the brush applicator; it helps in blending it really well. Also is does not need to be set with powder, without setting it stays for a 4-5 hours, but when set it stays for a good 6-7 hours. It will work great as a highlighter as well, as it does not provide extreme coverage. In all it is a great concealer and highlighter if you want something that is extremely natural looking and if you do not suffer from very dark under eye circles.
Pros of Essence Stay Natural Concealer in 04 Soft Honey:
• Sturdy packaging
• Extremely affordable
• Great brush applicator
• Not tested on animals
• Can be used as a concealer and highlighter
• Natural looking
Cons of Essence Stay Natural Concealer in 04 Soft Honey:
• All the shades are very light and will not suit darker skin tones.
• Can look ashy
• Pen can disperse too much product
• Will not provide coverage if you have dark under eye circles.
Recommendation– If you do not suffer from heavy dark circles and are looking for a natural looking concealer or highlighter that is reasonably priced, and if you can find a good shade match.
Rating– 3.5/5
