Hello IMBBians,
I am a big time nail buff! I have been stocking several products for growth and strength of nails. Essence has one of the best and affordable range of nail care and ‘Nail oils’ are the new addition. I picked up Repairing Nail Oil with Argan Oil; read on to know more.

My Experience with Essence Studio Nails Repairing Nail Oil with Argan Oil:

I had a small ‘nail accident’ and had to chop off all my nails. I have super small nails and I badly wanted it to grow back so that I could flaunt my colored nails again! I have been using products for nail growth and this is one among them.

The bottle is small. It holds 3.5ml of the liquid and is made of glass. The yellow screw cap with the applicator is tight. The applicator is similar to the ones that come with the lipgloss but this is more like Q-tip. However, it eases the application without a fuss. The smell of the nail oil is very strong and fruity. I wish it was milder, my friend had a headache when I was applying it, so it is not everyone’s cup of tea. The nail oil is mild yellow in color.
packaging

The nail oil is easy to apply. You just rub the soaked applicator onto the nails. I have been applying it every day for a week now. The texture of the oil is quite thick and once applied it takes time to soak into the nail/cuticle. This is something I do not like and I prefer to massage it so that the soaking process is faster. If it is just allowed to sit like that it takes about 15 minutes to get absorbed; that is quite long. For now, I have not noticed my nails growing or being stronger. They are growing healthier but nothing to brag about with the effects of the nail oil. It does hydrate my cuticles and makes the nails look hydrated but other than that it is a simple nail oil with perfume and an applicator. As an alternative, you can use castor/olive oil and apply onto your nails with an ear bud and I am sure that the effects would be the same. Along with it, it has a lot of chemicals, so I am not sure if I would want to buy it again! So summing up,
applied on nail

Will I Repurchase Essence Studio Nails Repairing Nail Oil with Argan Oil Review?
No! I would recycle the bottle by using some olive/castor oil.
