Essence Sun Club Mono Eyeshadow – It’s Bronze Darling Review

Hi IMBB beauties,

The festive season is at its very best and sitting here in Kolkata, I just wish that it does not rain in the coming few days. While deciding upon my outfit and makeup for Diwali, I was shopping my stash and realized that there are quite a few pretties that have not been given their due love (read review). So, today I am going to review one such glamorous beauty from my stash which was a gift from my mom. She had got me some lovely makeup from her Europe trip and this is one among the beauties.

Product Description:

Essence Mono eyeshadow for a striking look on any dance floor, use wet or dry.

Bronze eyeshadow 2

Packaging:

The packaging is a round transparent plastic body with a convex top. There is no brush included in this eyeshadow and to me that makes sense as we rarely use the applicators provided. Unless we are travelling, the applicator stays like an unwelcomed guest. The lid shuts with a click, so you can carry it safely while travelling.

Texture:

The eyeshadow is smooth to apply and has little fallout but nothing that is not manageable. If you are planning to create a clean look, then make sure to dab some loose powder before starting the eye makeup or better, do your eye make-up first and then base.

Price:

2-3 pounds, not sure as it was a gift.

My Experience with Essence Sun Club Mono Eyeshadow – It’s Bronze Darling:

My love for neutrals is never-ending and that is not unknown to my family. This eye-shadow was a love at first sight as it was neutral and pearl finish at the same time. The shimmers do not look over the top, rather it gives a polished finish to the eye makeup. One special mention is that, this eye shadow applies better with finger tips than brush. Probably, it is the heat that helps the product to stick better, just like the skin-to-skin warmth theory goes.

Bronze eyeshadow 3

The little fall-out is manageable but dusting some loose powder will ensure that that the shimmers do not skin to the natural oil on your face. I have been using this shadow a lot in this festive season and it just gives the right amount of glam to my eye make-up.

Bronze eyeshadow 4

I have swept the shadow all over the lid and defined the crease with a light black. Lined my eyes with Faces Solid black and mascara is by Clinique. Hope you like the EOTD.
