I recently picked up some lipsticks from Essence to match them along with the lip liners I had picked up earlier. Today’s review is all about Essence Ultra Last Instant Color Lipstick in the shade “11 Cherry Sweet”. Read on to know more about it.

My Experience with Essence Ultra Last Instant Color Lipstick 11 Cherry Sweet:

The lipstick comes in a black case with the essence logo printed on the top of the cap and the shade at the bottom of the product.The cap closes with a click and this makes sure that it doesn’t open when you keep this lipstick in your purse. There is a belt between the top and the bottom of the lipstick and this denotes the shade of the lipstick. The name of the shade is also mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick. Once you open the lipstick the case is completely black and the belt makes it easier to select the lipstick. Overall, I like the packaging but the plastic can look a little cheap. There is no much information available on the product but, you can get the name of the shade and others small details on the sticker attached to it. But, this will easily fade away.

Coming to the consistency of the lipstick, the lipstick is very soft and glides very easily without any issues. I absolutely love the creamy texture of the lipstick and I have no problems with application. The shape of the lipstick bullet gives you a very good definition and you can also use it to glide easily onto the corners of the lipstick.

“Cherry sweet” is a beautiful cherry colored lipstick and it is very nice. It has blueish undertones to it. I absolutely love this shade. This shade can also brightens my face and also brighten my teeth which is great! The shade looks very much similar to my Maybelline Pioneer Liquid lipstick. The lipstick has a very sweet scent to it and I am not very fond of this sweet fragrance as it feels artificial. However, it lasts for very short period of time and have no problems at all.

The shade is much pigmented and there is no problem with any tugging or pulling of the lipstick during application. This shade also comes along with matching lip liners and I also picked the lip liner to make sure I get good hours of the color payoff on my lips. The product, if you used alone lasts for around 3-4 hours, it kind of starts fading after that. It completely fades at the center of the lips first and then start fading at the corners. It doesn’t leave any kind of stains on the lips.

The product has a glossy finish. However, you can create it to a semi-matte finish by using loose powder. You can get the color pay off with just two or three swipes. There is no moisturization properties for this lipstick but, it doesn’t make your lips are dry. However, I would recommend using and lip scrub and exfoliator before you start to make sure that it doesn’t settle into the dry areas of your lips. The product does transfer and bleed a little. However, you could reduce this using the lip liner. Overall, it is a good choice for the price I pay and I would surely recommend it. So summing up:
