I generally tend to buy shades of pink, red and nude for my lipsticks. I wanted to experiment with a bolder shade and picked up the lipstick I would be reviewing today.

My Experience with Essence Ultra Last Instant Colour Lipstick 20 Rich Mahogany:
The lipstick comes in a cheap looking black, plastic case. The brand logo is printed both on the lipstick case as well as the lipstick. The base of the lipstick case has a color indicating sticker with the shade number printed on it. The case click locks tightly and is convenient to carry around.
The lipstick is dark chocolate brown in color with a glossy finish. The fragrance is sweet and doesn’t linger long. The lipstick is very well pigmented and has a very creamy texture. It applies well without any tugging or pulling. I like the shade better after blotting my lips with a tissue paper. It turns muted brown then.
It stays on for an average of 3 hours and leaves no tint behind. It does not dry out my lips at all. Since the lipstick is very creamy it transfers to everything it comes in contact with. Also, it is better to wear it with a lip liner to avoid bleeding from the corners of the mouth.
