Estée Lauder Advanced Time Zone Night Age Reversing Line/Wrinkle Creme Review

Today, I will be sharing my thoughts with you, regarding this last skin care product which I have been using this winter. The weather at my place has really been erratic the last few days with alternating hot and cold days.  As I write down this review, it has started raining, I mean raining really hard! I am sitting near my window sill, enjoying a cup of coffee; and I am a bit ill now; so have wrapped myself in a really warm blanket. It feels so cosy here. Anyway, today’s product is a night cream which I am using for more than two months, and there is still quite a bit left.

My Experience with Estée Lauder Advanced Time Zone Night Age Reversing Line/Wrinkle Creme:

Estee Lauder Time Zone Night has an elegant creamy texture and formula that’s loaded with antioxidants, cell-communicating ingredients, and skin-identical substances. This product contains hyaluronic acid (helps the skin to hold water) and a big dose of antioxidants (helps to repair and protect skin against harsh sun). It also helps to minimize the pores and fine lines to a certain extent.

The night cream comes in a green color box on which all details are written. Inside is a lilac colored jar with a golden cap having the classic Estee Lauder logo on it. Though I do not like jar packaging, this product is quite thick and really needs a jar. Also, the overall appearance is aesthetically quite pleasant.

The night cream is light pink in color. It has a mild floral fragrance to it which does not really bother the nose, though I could have done without it. The cream is quite thick in consistency and does need a bit of push to blend completely. One needs a very little amount of cream to cover the entire face and neck region. Once blended, it does not look greasy as so many night creams do. It leaves a soft and satiny finish.

It does not look matte on the skin nor does it turn you into a grease ball. The cream performs quite well in the anti-aging department. However, it may not “reverse age” to that extent. It blends nicely with the skin and does not feel heavy, as if “sitting on the skin” feeling.  It gets absorbed quickly, so will be liked by both dry and oily skin beauties. Also, it can be used both in summers and winter time. The cream is rich in moisturisers and anti-oxidants, which is definitely a plus, but how long they remain active once the jar is opened is a matter of discussion.

In the morning, it gives soft, smooth, fresh and “a glow from within look” to the skin. It does shrink the size of the pores and reduce the fine lines slightly. I do not have any major wrinkles, but I guess those will not be changed much by this cream. The performance is quite a change from some other night creams, which claim much but deliver nothing.

• Thick consistency, needs very less amount.
• Absorbs completely into the skin.
• Gives a soft satin finish.
• Does not look greasy.
• Can be used by both dry and oily skin beauties.
• Can be used in all seasons.
• Reduces size of pores slightly.
• Reverses fine lines to a certain extent.

Cons of Estée Lauder Advanced Time Zone Night Age Reversing Line/Wrinkle Creme:

• Does not cause age-reversal as far as major wrinkles are concerned.
• Limited availability.
• Expensive.
• Tub packaging is unhygienic and leads to loss of active ingredients.

This is a genuinely nice night cream for those showing the first signs of aging. If you ever visit the Estee Lauder counter, do check this one out.
