Estee Lauder Clear Difference Complexion Perfecting BB Creme SPF 35
Hello and Asalamolaikum beauties!
For me, the only daily wear makeup on my good days is a BB crème and a lip color. Good day means surely when I have few spare minutes in the morning, which means blending a foundation flawlessly will not be an ideal job and this is where BB creams took over in my life. They are a staple in my daily makeup kit now and getting one from Estee Lauder is dream come true. I am honest about it. I have an oily combination skin round the year except harsh winters. Strange it is, but that’s where my Garnier BB cream for oily/combination skin failed and I began the hunt for a new one. Let’s see if I found “Estee Lauder Clear Difference Complexion Perfecting BB Creme SPF 35” worth a try to or not.

My views about Estee Lauder Clear Difference Complexion Perfecting BB Creme SPF 35:
Packaging:
The blue theme colored packaging includes a card-box and a plastic, squeezable tube with nozzle dispenser. It nozzle was sealed when I received it and it is perfectly designed to squeeze out a tiny drop of product in order to avoid wastage and mess. The tube is a bit small than regular ones we see for BB Creams, but super cute.
Coming to the actual product, let me first confess that I actually wanted to pick up a foundation from Estee Lauder but the fears of getting a wrong shade hold me back. I have had bad experiences with ordering both lighter and darker shades for my skin tone while shopping online. So I convinced my heart to settle for a BB Crème which comes in light, medium and deep shades. I have got the shade ‘light’ which is the exact match of my skin with yellow undertones. The shade will suit warm skin beauties with medium-fair complexion, say NC-25 to NC-30. Even if the shade was one tone lighter, I wouldn’t mind that because it would have given me a fair and healthy, fresh look. Those with skin tones fairer than NC-25 should not pick this up because it will look orange on them (this being the lightest shade).
The crème is super blend-able; blends like butter with fingers and a stippling brush is absolutely not needed. It has an ideal consistency with smooth and creamy texture. When you hold it on the finger tips, feels like you are holding a tiny drop of semi-melted butter *woot*. But the drawback is that a bit more quantity is required than regular BB crèmes for covering the entire face. The coverage is really sheer and you will surely need a concealer underneath if you are conscious about coverage and have darker blemishes. For scars and big acne, make concealer a staple. It serves well as a moisturizer for my oily-combination skin, so this creme gets full marks in this category. My t-zone is really active and it starts secreting oil within three hours of application; but the situation isn’t terrible. A blotting paper, a tissue or a translucent powder will take care of it easily. It doesn’t accentuate pores at all. Application is really light weight and my skin feels like it is breathing all the time. It doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts and takes excellent care of redness. It doesn’t enhance dry patches neither feels sticky or greasy on skin. With no fragrance, it is perfect for those with sensitive nose. It definitely evens out my skin tone, balancing flaws on my skin to make my skin look healthier and radiant. The overall effect is amazingly natural and no matter if you over-do; it won’t look cakey. The longevity of this isn’t so good because of the sheer coverage. The flaws start showing up again in 4-5 hours. I will conclude that this is no doubt a great product but looking at the nature of coverage and price tag, I shall say it is really expensive. This will work well for normal and dry skin beauties in every season and oily-combination skin types can reap its benefit from in during winter and spring.

Final Thoughts on Estee Lauder Clear Difference Complexion Perfecting BB Creme SPF 35:
Well, I am in a dilemma. This is no doubt a great quality product but I wish the coverage and staying power could have been better. For these characteristics, I think it’s over-priced and you can get a better coverage or similar properties in a drug-store brand for one-tenth of its price. But again, the quality of Estee Lauder is superb. So if you like treating yourself with high-end products then grab this, go ahead. It’s definitely worth a try, especially those with normal and dry skin types. I might not repurchase this particular variant but definitely going to try the other two variants of BB crème from Estee Lauder. Stay blessed and happy!

Wa’alaikumosalam Sumera. The product suits you well. I tried it in the same shade some time ago and found it was too pink for my skin which is a shame seeing as it seems to tick all the other boxes.
